Little Hope of Compensation for Spanair Passengers

OCU (Spanish Consumers Organisation) is condemning the situation being faced by passengers who lost out haing booked a ticket on a Spanair flight only to be told they would be going nowhere. The organisation has given some advice on keeping all relevant documentation such as tickets and receipts but bemoans the fact that, since the company has decided to begin the pocess of filing for bankruptcy by deciding to hold a voluntary creditors meeting, will take years to resolve and effectively puts the passengers at the end of a long line of creditors behind the government and employees.
