An employee may be seconded to a subsidiary business in Spain from a parent company outside the European Union.
Additionally, it may be necessary for a key worker to be seconded to a client company based in Spain, in order to fulfil a contractual obligation. Both sets of circumstances will give rise to the need to apply for a temporary employment visa.
The application must be made at least 90 days in advance of the date of transfer.
The application itself must be accompanied by all required paperwork including verification of the employee’s status, the business itself, criminal record check, financial sustainability while in Spain and medical status.
