  • A salary at least 1.5 times the average gross annual salary in Portugal. For certain high-demand professions, this requirement is reduced to 1.2 times the average.
  • Comprehensive health insurance coverage.
  • A clean criminal record, indicating no threat to public policy, internal security, or public health​​.

The standard validity period for a Blue Card in Portugal is one year, renewable for additional two-year periods provided you continue to meet the eligibility criteria
