WOW! … Where to even begin? Domingo is simply the most professional, thorough, and helpful lawyer/solicitor I have ever had the pleasure of using (and believe me, due to my international dealings, I have used a lot of them). When we needed our Wills done, we were not happy having them drawn up under Spanish law. Domingo ensured that our Wills were prepared and secured under our home nations’ laws and perfectly accepted here in Gran Canaria under Spanish law! When my wife (78) needed to sell her apartment, yet keep the right to continue living here for the rest of her life — with a minimum stipulation of 30 years — at an agreed lower rent level with usufruct rights, so she could access liquid funds from the sale without losing her home, he got this done and sorted. And not only that — he organised everything, including the notary, gave us translated versions of the Spanish contract in English, and — I cannot say this often enough — was always available to us, whether by phone, email, or WhatsApp. Even when we were in the notaría (notary’s office), he checked everything over. When there were items that were either unclear or not in our favour, he had them rewrite it again and again. The integrity, professionalism, and dedication he shows to his clients are of the highest merit I have ever encountered. Believe me when I say this: If you are in need of a lawyer/solicitor in Gran Canaria who speaks very good English and remains calm even under the highest pressure, then Domingo is the man you want by your side. To put it in the words of Tina Turner: “Simply the Best” is what you get with Domingo! Oh, and if you worry about him being expensive... don’t! I have paid more in the UK and Germany — just to mention a few countries where I’ve needed legal representation. My British wife and I have used Domingo several times now, and we will always go back to him. Yes, I know this is quite long — but I could go on and on about Domingo and his superb legal services. I recently approached Advocate Abroad to better understand my Legal Status to travel after having a minor driving issue with the Guardia Civil, a couple of years back. I was appointed, Domingo, he was absolutely fantastic, helped me go through legal documentation back here in London. I made contact in November and after the Christmas period, I was provided with my documentation with the good news regarding my case, everything was rectified and I am now free to travel. The service provided was extremely professional and prompt, also, I expected the legal documentation and representation to cost much more and for the process to take much longer.
